The college endeavors to become a centre of higher education of excellence for women in every sense of the term. Apart from rendering quality education in its eleven programmes, it has introduced many add on/ certificate courses for the promotion of women education. In order to keep pace with the emerging scenario of higher education, the college has stressed profound emphasis on ICT education, and hence it has established a computer lab with the latest ICT facilities. There are many efforts to improve the overall personality of the students through orientation, counseling and awareness programmes on different issues. Career is given great importance for which career counseling programmes are organised off and on. Apart from jobs in government and non-governmental sectors, students are instilled confidence in embarking upon jobs through capacity enhancement and skills development. Master Degree in distance mode in four subjects is underway and more are in the offing. There are attempts to orient students through multi-disciplinary education to meet the demand of higher education of the time. To fulfill holistically the goal of making the college a centre of higher education of excellence for women in every sense of the term the college tries to deliver its service not only through the office and the departments but also through IQAC, committees and sub-committees. The college avails the services of its well-wishers, stakeholders and the public for its overall development.
