DIGBOI MAHILA MAHAVIDYALAYA
With the motto “UNITY & DISCIPLINE” NCC has been the propeller in channelizing the force of the youth population of India since 1948. The National Cadet Corps is the youth wing of Armed Forces with its Headquarters at New Delhi, India. It is a Tri-servicing organisation, comprising the Army, Navy and Air Wing. NCC in India is a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, Colleges and universities all over India. The NCC Day is observed on the fourth Sunday of November.
NCC, Digboi Mahila Mahavidyalaya :
NCC Digboi Mahila Mahavidyalaya is in the Army Wing and comes under 63 Assam Girls BN, Dibrugarh. NCC in Digboi Mahila Mahavidyalaya established on 2016. The total strength of the unit is 50 Cadets. Our NCC cadets have participated in various National and Regional Camps. Only those students with 75% of attendance for every year will be allowed to participate in the camps and other activities of the NCC. Some of them have won various Games and cultural competition. In CATC55, 2022 our cadets secured First position in Football, Second Position in Kabbaddi and 1st position in Poem Writing Competition. Regular activities in the weekly parades are warm-up exercises, Drill, Rifle Drill , Lecture class, Map reading, weapon Training etc. are being imparted to the cadets as per the syllabus framed by NCC. Independence Day, Republic Day, Disaster Management trainning program, Yoga Day, Road Safety Rally,Parks, Walls cleaning under the swachcha Bharat Abhiyan , NCC Day celebration programs are conducted by Our college.
Our aims to develop the qualities like comradeship, Discipline, Spirit of Adventure, Sportsmanship and ideals of selfless Service among the cadets of our College, To provide a suitable environment that motivates the youth to take up a career in Armed Forces. Each cadet of our college is very Hardworking and sincere.
