About Us :

Digboi Mahila Mahavidyalaya IPR Cell (DMMIPR Cell) was established in March 2022 with a vision to develop human resource in the management of Intellectual Property Rights as an integral part of the innovation process. Along with teaching and extension activities, an educational institution need to encourage creativity and provide conducive environment . The cell was aimed to provide Intellectual Property Rights awareness for Faculties and students. Digboi Mahila Mahavidyalaya is committed to encourage, protect, manage and commercialize Intellectual Property such as Patent, copyright, Trademark. Etc. generated through the college. Governments of various countries protect the innovative ideas of the inventors through Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). IPR has become a central issue in the developed and developing countries.
Objectives :
• To Create awareness and educate on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) among faculty and students of the college.
• To conduct workshops, activities and training programs on IPR.
• To provide guidelines on applicable laws and regulations regarding IPR.
• To Encourage women Entrepreneurship and start-ups.

IPR Activities :

Internal Hackathan cum Exhibition will be held on the occasion of National Creativity Day.
DATE : 30th May ,2022

A National Workshop on Intellectual Propery Rights-patent & Design filling will be held on 17th May,2022 via online Mode.

IPR Cell Digboi Mahila Mahavidyalaya nominated one Team for Smart India Hackathon, 2022. B.A 6th Semester students of Home science designed traditional Assamese Motifs in eri-chawl.
