Code of Conduct
1. Students have an obligation to obey national, state and local laws.
2. Every student while in college or representing the college in anywhere should be dressed in full uniform of the college.
3. The students must display the identity card while in the college campus or outside for college related work.
4. Students must be disciplined in all the activities of the college.
5. No individual/group of students should indulge in verbal threats, taunts and harassment and physical intimidation, assault etc. to other students.
6. Students should attend all lectures and practicals held during the academic session. In case the student is unable to do so then she must have:
• Minimum 80% of attendance for Higher Secondary classes
• Minimum 75% of attendance for B.A. Pass
• Minimum 85% of attendance for B.A. Major
Failure to secure this minimum percentage will make the student ineligible to sit in the Annual examinations.
7. Students must abide by the rules and regulations set by the library.
8. Hostel boarders must abide by the rules and regulations set by the hostel committee.
9. Use of mobile phone is strictly prohibited inside the college campus during college hours.
10. If the student is found guilty of misconduct/indiscipline as per the regulation of university, she, on the advice of the principal to the Vice Chancellor, may be expelled/rusticated, for a stated period / debarred from the university for a stated period/fined with a sum of rupees that may be specified/debarred from appearing in the university examination for one or more years/have appeared, cancelled.
11. Any individual or collective act or practice of ragging constitutes gross indiscipline and will be dealt with under the university ordinance.
12. The principal, proctor and the Hostel Warden should be immediately informed of the cases of ragging. Abetment to ragging will also amount to ragging.
13. Punishment for ragging includes rustication of a student or students, for a specific number of years / cancellation of the result of the examination in which she/they may have appeared.
14. It may be noted that the college takes a serious view of any individual / group which indulges in verbal threats, taunts and harassment and physical intimidation, assault etc. Stern disciplinary action will be taken against anyone found to be doing so, and may include expulsion from the college.
15. Mobile or cell phone is not allowed within the campus of the college and the hostel.

3. They should abstain from sexually harassing colleagues, staff or students.
4. Consumptions of Intoxicants (Alcohol, tobacco, drugs etc.) are strictly prohibited inside the college campus. Discrimination and equal opportunity
5. Faculty members are usually required to avoid all forms of discrimination based on ethnicity, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation and disability. They should make sure that all students have equal access to learning and that a non-hostile environment is created to facilitate learning.
Academic codes
6. It is the obligation of faculty members to meet with their classes, grade, work fairly and promptly, holding office hours and conform in their teaching to course description and syllabus
7. Faculty must follow rules concerning academic honesty, and follow other rules of scholarly integrity within their discipline including not faking data
8. Any outside work or consulting must be reported to the principal and must not create conflicts of interest with the faculty members.

• Maintaining attendance and performance records of all students pursuing the course(s) he/she offers.
1. Conducting all in-semester examinations/assessments/evolutions.
2. Participating in all evaluation and result generating process of the University, wherever asked for.
3. Assisting and cooperating in all activities of the University or College meant for better academic pursuit.
